The Placement Cell

The placement cell of the college provides guidance and all the assistance to the students for achieving their career goals. The cell takes relevant steps in identifying the demands of the industry and prepares the students for this need. The Career counselling and placement cell of the college functions with the objective of providing guidance and assistance for the students to achieve their career goals and secure their career. It provides awareness about higher studies, self-employment and job opportunities. The cell provides skill-based support and guidance to the students to prepare them for getting placement in reputed firms. It also helps students to build self-confidence and prepares them to compete in current market situations/ demands. The cell plays a crucial role in helping undergraduate students to locate job opportunities by keeping in touch with reputed firms/ organizations and industrial establishments and administrative setup of government departments. The placement cell operates round the year to facilitate communications and contacts between employment offering firms/companies/PSUs etc. and the college students. Career guidance and counselling helps individuals in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to identify options, explore alternatives and succeed in society. Entrepreneur development has also taken prominence in all such interactions under the banner of the placement cell.

Aim & Objectives

• To correspond to prospective companies for interview dates and schedule of events.
• To arrange for interview facilities at the campus and written test halls.
• To receive the personnel and provide necessary inputs about the college and to coordinate with placement faculty and Student coordinators for smooth functioning at various locations (interview halls, Labs for online test, written test halls, canteen etc).
• To collect the appointment letters or correspond to get them as soon as the interview is over.
• To distribute appointment letters and collect acceptance letters from the students and dispatch to employees.
• Provide required training [Soft skills & Technical] to the students based on the needs of the company through external trainers or through the internal resource members.
