The Department of Psychology was established in 1964 and the provision of teaching in Honours was introduced in 1968. The Department has a separate office room and faculty room. well-furnished classroom with two well-equipped laboratories. The Department of Psychology endeavours to produce scholars who will have a good understanding of human psychology and its underlying mechanism, to solve complexities of human relations, and mental health and create a healthy society. To be an advanced centre of psychology at the national level.
