About Department
The Department of Mathematics, Bhadrak Autonomous College, Bhadrak is known for its excellence in academic programs. The Mathematics Department provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Mathematics. The Department has six faculties having diverse research areas. The current student strength of the department is 56 (48 Science and 8 Arts) for UG and 16 for PG. The Department has three classrooms and a dedicated computer lab for student project computations and practical works. The Department also has its library, where students can issue books as per the semester requirement. Additionally, the Department organizes regular Departmental seminars to enhance students' learning experiences and foster collaboration among peers. Through these initiatives, students are encouraged to engage with current research trends and develop their skills in Mathematical applications. The Department organises various events for close interaction between students and faculty, both within and beyond the classroom, including student mentoring. Also, the Department organises various Mathematics programs like summer programs ATPM, Compact Courses, Symposium and Seminars to keep motivating students for higher studies.

Mission
- * The goal of the academic curriculum is to equip all of the students with conceptual understanding, computational skills, and quantitative reasoning.
- * For Mathematics minor students, the Department aim to provide stimulating mathematical experiences that will boost their future careers.
- * The Department also aim to promote an environment that fosters creativity, critical thought, and active learning amongst our faculty, and students; aiming to increase participation.
- *The Department supports postgraduate students who want to work in higher mathematics and conduct research.
