About Department

Bhadrak Autonomous College, Bhadrak is one of the premier institutions of higher learning in Odisha. It was established in 1948 and conferred autonomous status by the UGC and Government of Odisha from the session 2002-03. The college formulates its own syllabi, conducts examinations and publishes results. However, the Graduation and post-graduation degree certificates are awarded by Fakir Mohan University, Balasore to which the college is affiliated. The college has been accredited by NAAC and awarded the Grade ‘A’. The campus selection by reputed firms is the distinct initiation of the institution. The college aims to provide quality education, build character, and develop the personality of the students. The college mainly aims to impart quality education, personality and holistic development to its students for their professional achievements. In the rapid development scenario, career prospects for the job seekers are diversifying and it is imperative to keep pace with the changing career platforms. With the consideration of a need-based approach, the College provides post-graduate professional courses with career orientation for the students in PPP mode. Bhadrak Autonomous College has been initiating career-intensive courses on its campus for the greater benefit of the students of Bhadrak and adjoining areas. As Graduate stream BBA, BALLB(H), 5-year Integrated Law and Post Graduate streams MSW, MAJ&MC, MCA, MBA(FM)&MPMIR are the professional courses being provided by the College in self-financing mode as per the higher education perspective of the State Government for augmenting skilled pool and enhancing the future prospects of the passing out degree holders.
