About Department
Bhadrak Autonomous College, Bhadrak is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Odisha. It was established in 1948 and conferred autonomous status by the UGC and Government of Odisha from the session 2002-03. The College provides Professional courses with career orientation for students in self-financing mode. The Department of Data Science at Bhadrak Autonomous College in Bhadrak was established in the academic session 2022-23. The Department offers a B.Sc (Hons.) Data Science Program in self-financing mode with an intake capacity of 64 students. The Department is dedicated to empowering the students with a deep understanding of Data Science and Data Analytics.

To impart the quality education for making leaders in Data Science to meet the growing demand for Data Scientists and Data Engineers in India and worldwide. To equip the students with strong fundamentals in theory, hands-on practice in various data science-related tools and technologies, and domain knowledge in natural science, Computer Science, Statistics, and Mathematics. To create a centre of excellence in the field of data science with the fusion of domain knowledge.
